Speaking to Billboard at her Johannesburg hotel, Shakira said the as-yet-unnamed bilingual album, due September, is a return to her roots. "I see it [the new album] as having two currents," she says. "One is a lot about love and love experiences and emotions. And the other side of it is very joyful, and upbeat." Shakira also revealed that the music on her upcoming set would reflect influences from both the Dominican Republic and Colombia. It could have been a rumor but if I can find a source, then it's a possibility that their work may be included in the upcoming album.

About Calle 13, I'm really hoping they're leaving Libertad as a surprise. I was really hoping for something inspirational and protest-like from them and I was very disappointed because of this when I first heard "Gordita". I wouldn't mind if it came out in Calle 13's next album, I just want the song to exist!! I'll go ahead and edit the post with all the new info from everyone. Thanks. Posts: 248 06/28/10 11:53:19	An unofficial name for the album appeared on this site: http://www.theo2.ie/event/shakira/ They say it is "Sale el sol". What do you guys think? Although I initially didn't think it was good, now I think it could be a nice counterpart to She Wolf. It's like an anti-thesis in a way. On one hand you have more of a dark, nocturnal theme with a full moon and on the other you have a rising sun, with a very inspirational track (Sale el sol from RIR Madrid) to go along with the title of the album. Would that make Shaki look schizophrenic?
